The plan track facility includes the track and field event spaces, parking, the adjacent junior high and football stadium, and a new concessions building. Issues of site circulation and connections between the schools and events were also considered as the design took shape. Construction of the facility is being completed in three phase; all of which are being designed, bid and overseen by GE Wattier. The design for the shape of the track allows the void in the center to be large enough for a full-size soccer practice field.
