The project massing and exterior design transforms from the north side, through the corner massing, along the adjacent street to the west and into the condominium project to the south.  This transformation respects and illustrates the shift from a background, traditional design to a more transparent, contemporary abstraction of the historic downtown façade layering and variations.  Through purposeful interaction with the streetscape and found pedestrian pathways, the project activates the neighborhood and brings people back downtown not only to be entertained but also to live, work and play.
