This historic restoration project on this major landmark in Des Moines included the repair of the exterior envelope and site modifications. Coordination with the Foundation and the State of Iowa was important to ensure the proposed details and preservation approach was appropriate to the visual integrity of the original structure. Multiple contracts with many different subcontractors and suppliers were let and coordinated by GE Wattier.
