This well-known railroad freight storage house has been used for many different restaurant establishments over the last few decades. Now it will be the permanent home of the Iowa State Bar Association. The structure will house the staff and directors of the Bar in an open, spacious interior that will maintain the open feel of the original building. The project is seeking designation from the National Park Service as an historic landmark. GE Wattier has worked closely with the State of Iowa in identifying the major historic elements of the design and incorporating them into a new, modern office and meeting facility.
